What follows is a description of each character within each class. The Warlord’s Skills tree is geared toward maximizing health and attack and increasing the effect of usable attacks. The Warlord provides increased damage and a reduction to damage received for nearby evil units. Its Skills tree is geared toward increasing the effects of possession and its usable attacks. They can possess both evil units and human Survivors, turning them against their human counterparts. Puppeteers are, as their name suggests, masters of controlling others through possession. The Skills tree is geared toward increasing the effects of usable skills and the flautist. This flautist increases damage dealt (70 percent) and reduces damage received (30 percent) for all nearby evil units at the cost of being unable to move or defend.
In the game, the Necromancer can summon a skeleton flautist. Necromancers are the traditional undead of the Demons as they are skeletons.
